Whether you are planning a small intimate day or a larger, more festive one, the Cuckoo Restaurant offers a unique way to enjoy your wedding celebrations. Delivering first class friendly service, every facet of your reception is planned and staged beautifully. Nestled in the stunning Dandenong Ranges, The Cuckoo offers all the charm and romance of the hills at very competitive rates.
The Cuckoo Restaurant is located in pretty Olinda along the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road. The building is designed in the Bavarian Chalet Style boasting staggered gabled roofs with scalloped edging and decorative window shutters. The Cuckoo Restaurant is listed with the Shire of Yarra Ranges Heritage Overlay Program as a building of historical and architectural significance.
AMBIANCE.
The Cuckoo always has a feel of warm and welcoming embrace. Featuring decorative wood figurines, myriad cuckoo clocks and a cosy Swiss chalet décor, in combination with our floor staff in charming Bavarian costume this environment brings out the family sense of celebration in everyone.
3 DINING ROOMS
The restaurant caters for 480 guests in three separate dining areas, all with their own band and dance floor. The Vienna Room, situated downstairs, is designed for wedding receptions and is a delightful room away from the rest of the restaurant’s guests.
